Find the director’s side for the role for which you’re auditioning and memorize it and the scene. There will be no cold reads at the audition unless the creative team wants to see you in another role. We want you to come prepared for the scene and song of the character for which you’re auditioning and see your interpretation and how you would be as that character.

The cast recording is there for you to learn. Please don’t try and mimic how they sang the songs. We want to hear you as these characters.
